Enhancing Collaboration with New Share and Visibility Options
Discover how our new share and visibility features empower your workflow with flexible link options.

In today's fast-paced digital environment, effective collaboration is key. At SayDiagram, we understand the importance of accessibility when sharing your diagrams. We're excited to introduce our latest feature: Share and Visibility options. With Private, Unlisted, and Public links, along with innovative share caps and team organization locks, sharing your work has never been easier.
These enhancements are designed to give you greater control over your diagrams, making it simple to share your creative process with colleagues, clients, or the wider community. Whether you want to keep your diagrams confidential or share them with everyone, we have a solution that fits your needs.
How it works
With the Share and Visibility feature, you can select from three distinct link types:
- Private links allow you to share your diagrams with select individuals, ensuring that sensitive information remains confidential. Only those with the link can access the content.
- Unlisted links provide a middle ground. These links won’t appear in search results and can be shared among a select group without being publicly accessible.
- Public links make your diagrams available to anyone. This is ideal for sharing your work with a broad audience, whether it’s for educational purposes or community engagement.
In addition to link types, we've introduced Free share caps for individual users, allowing a limited number of shares without commitment. For teams, we've implemented a Team org share lock feature that ensures all team members can share diagrams securely while maintaining organizational integrity. This combination of features supports diverse sharing needs, making collaboration seamless.
Who it’s for
The Share and Visibility feature is tailored for a variety of users. If you're a freelancer, you can control who sees your work and maintain a professional edge with Private links for client presentations. Teams can leverage the share caps and organizational locks to maintain consistent sharing practices while fostering collaboration on projects.
Educators and trainers will find that Public links allow for easy dissemination of instructional materials, enabling students and participants to access resources without barriers. Moreover, project managers and developers can utilize Unlisted links to share drafts and prototypes among stakeholders before public release.
Tips or pitfalls
While our sharing options are designed to be user-friendly, here are some tips to make the most of them:
- When using Public links, consider your audience and the context of your work. Make sure that the information shared is appropriate for everyone.
- For sensitive content, always opt for Private links and verify who has access.
- Encourage team members to utilize the share caps effectively, helping to prevent accidental over-sharing.
By understanding the strengths of each link type, you can ensure that your diagrams reach the right audience at the right time.
